Let's talk

Indicative starting rates. Your exact rate depends on role, experience and hours — you'll have the real number before you commit to anything.

Why Loomo

You get the capacity. Someone else does the employing.

You aren't employing anyone overseas, and neither is Loomo. The professional is employed by a registered employer in the Philippines who handles their contract, payroll, statutory benefits and local compliance.

You pay an invoice for a service — the same as any other supplier. Which means no overseas payroll registration, no foreign employment law exposure, and no visa questions.

  • Full-time and dedicated. One client — you. Not a freelancer juggling six.
  • You interview and choose. CVs, video introductions and test work before you decide.
  • Structured onboarding. The provider builds the week-one plan before they start, rather than improvising after.
  • Replacement at no fee if it isn't right. Arranged with the provider — no replacement fee, no three-month wrangle.
  • Scale up, down or stop. Notice period only — no multi-year lock-in.

How it works

From first call to first day in 10–14 days

No job ads. No agency fees. No CV pile. No six-week notice periods.

  1. Free consultation

Twenty minutes. We work out what you actually need, not what you think you need.

  2. Role spec

We turn that into a proper job description and brief the provider, usually within 48 hours.

  3. Vetted shortlist

The provider sends CVs, video introductions and test work from candidates who've passed qualification, English and technical screening.

  4. You interview

You meet them, you set the task, you choose. You contract directly with the provider.

  5. Onboard & scale

Systems access, a structured first week, then add hours or people with the provider as you grow.

Good for testing the water, or for a role that genuinely doesn't fill a day. Most clients outgrow it within two months.

Most popular

Full-time — 40 hrs/week

~£1,470/month

Where this model actually pays. A full seat, one person, learning your business and getting better every month.

Team — 2+ people

From £2,940/month

Two full-time professionals cost roughly what one UK hire does. Most clients ask about a second within eight weeks.

Based on the £8.50/hour entry rate. Specialist roles — bookkeeping, quantity surveying, marketing — are priced higher. All figures exclude VAT where applicable.

Straight answers

The questions everyone asks

Won't the time difference be a problem?

No. The Philippines is 7 hours ahead of the UK in summer and 8 in winter. Your remote professional works a 3pm–11pm Manila shift, which is 8am–4pm in your money — you're working live, in the same day. They're on your Slack, they answer your calls, they join your Monday meeting. If you'd rather have work landing in your inbox at 7am, you can choose an overnight shift instead. It's your call.

Will the English be good enough?

English is an official language of the Philippines and the language of instruction in schools and universities. Every candidate is degree-educated and assessed by the provider on written and spoken English before reaching your shortlist. More importantly: you interview them. If the English isn't right for you, you don't hire them.

Am I employing someone overseas? What about tax and employment law?

You aren't employing anyone, and neither is Loomo. The professional is employed by a registered employer in the Philippines who handles their contract, payroll, statutory benefits and local compliance. You pay an invoice for a service — a supplier relationship like any other. That means no overseas payroll registration, no permanent establishment risk and no visa questions. As with any new supplier arrangement, it's worth a quick word with your own accountant.

What about data security and GDPR?

The provider signs NDAs as standard. Access runs through your systems and your permissions and is revocable instantly, with password managers rather than shared spreadsheets, background-checked staff and a managed office environment rather than someone's kitchen table. Because personal data may move outside the UK, appropriate international transfer safeguards are put in place, and we'll walk you through what that means for your business.

I've tried outsourcing before and it didn't work.

Usually one of three things went wrong: you hired on a freelance marketplace and got someone juggling six clients; there was no onboarding, just a login and hope; or you hired for tasks rather than a role, so nobody owned anything. What's different here is a full-time, dedicated person, structured onboarding, a defined role with real ownership, and a managed employer handling HR and performance behind them.

I don't have time to manage someone.

You won't manage HR, payroll, IT, contracts, holiday, sick leave, performance reviews or discipline — that's all handled on the ground. What you manage is the work: a 15-minute daily check-in for the first fortnight, then weekly. If you can run a Monday morning meeting, you can do this.

What if it doesn't work out, or they leave?

The provider replaces them, with no replacement fee. You can scale hours up or down as your workload changes, and if you need to stop entirely you give notice and stop — there's no long lock-in. Compare that to a UK hire leaving: another recruitment fee, a three-month notice period and six weeks of ramp-up.

Is this just cheap labour?

No, and it matters that it isn't. The people placed are degree-educated professionals on properly employed contracts with benefits and progression, earning a genuinely good salary in their own economy. The gap is cost of living, not exploitation — £1,500 a month is a professional salary in Manila. The UK business gets capacity it couldn't otherwise afford; the professional gets a career with an international company.
